The law firm of Ross Cliffen & Morrison was founded by Michael J. Quigley in March 1970 in Smiths Falls, Ontario. In 1977 Michael V. Ross joined the firm and the firm name became Quigley & Associates. Later that year the firm moved to its present location in Smiths Falls. Michael R. Cliffen articled with the firm in 1979 and the firm became Quigley, Ross & Cliffen in 1981.
